¡Feliz Año Nuevo!

¡Feliz Año Nuevo!

This week was good and it was fun to talk to all y'all on Christmas! We spent Christmas Eve caroling with the sister missionaries and some ward members, handing out Liahonas along the way. It was really fun and we found lots of people and the really enjoyed it. And Christmas miracles when we found one family that´s been trying to ignore all contact from us and the dad was weeping tears of joy when we were singing (or we must have been really bad, or someone spit in his eye, or the light shining off my tag was too bright, or something like that). And then we gave a blessing to his mother and I don´t want to explain everything because I think I already explained it, but yes, Christmas miracle. And then we spent that night in the house with the assistants eating nachos and watching The Testaments.

Then Christmas came and we spent the entire morning in the offices while everyone here talked with their families and because of how everything worked out we didn´t even finish and leave until 3 or 4ish to go eat. And yes, Christmas lunch: expensive burritos. Awesome. But yes, that was nice to use Skype in the offices, much different and better than May in El Quior haha. And then after lunch we went to the bishop's house to go caroling again that night with his family and the sister missionaries, but they ended up giving us tons of food and we weren´t able to go to our area because there were so many drunks in the primer anillo, which is basically our entire area, so we chilled with them while we ate the nasty fruit cake of South America, Panatón. I´ve been good with all of the food here and there´s tons of stuff that I really really like, but Panatón..... ya.... no. And then they invited us to eat with them, but there wasn´t time because we had to be home at 8, so we ended up taking the spaghetti to our house to eat it while I called all of the zones that night because half the mission had to go sign papers for their visas haha. Not really half the mission, but yes, I still had to call everyone up, which took up my night. But I wished everyone a Merry Christmas and yup. Not much happened. Feliz Navidad haha!

And yup, that´s basically it because we got to talk about everything on Christmas.

Ah! But we had an awesome lesson yesterday at night with a family that has a daughter on the mission and that the dad isn´t a member. They also had some other family members that were over so we taught them too. Every single one of them attend other churches, and they shared with us how they came about those other churches. Basically in the end we were teaching the Restoration and they were all thinking a lot in the end and had awesome questions and the only problem is that they live in Plan 3000, where I started out. Oh well, we´ll pass the reference. But the dad was thinking a ton in the end, so we´re gonna be visiting him again sometime soon here. He´s a leader in another church by their house, so it´s been interesting.

Well all´s well around here.

Haha we spent all of the 3rd hour of church yesterday in the meeting with the priesthood and relief society about what the ward was going to do for New Years. Ya, we didn´t say much....... ¨Well I think we should all sing some hymns and read the scriptures together as a ward family. Then we´ll get crazy with singin some Primary Songs in a round! Then we´ll all watch some Mormon Messages! And when the time comes to go home, you can all go home to have your family home evenings! YES! The Spirit! Happy New Years!¨     ............ haha we just raised our hands when they asked everyone if we all wanted a party with lots and lots of food. We´ll be in the house at 8 probably with some more nachos and 17 Miracles or something like that haha.

Haha yup. Have a great New Years!
